Introductory Session - Days 1 and 2

This two-day session will provide you with the hands-on experience of developing a simple yet complete model of a collection system. This will give you a basic understanding of the entire modeling process - from digitizing to hydraulic analysis.

Topics covered include:

• Establishing the expectations of the modeling project
• Identifying sources of input data
• Creating or converting drawings for model construction
• Populating the system databases
• Creating flow files
• Running the analyses
• Interpretation of modeling results
• Reviewing model results
• Using HYDRA for reports and exhibits

Selected Topics - Day 3
Cost: $ 300

A special one-day additional session will be offered for those who have a good understanding of the basic process of modeling with HYDRA and would like an opportunity to further discuss model calibration, wet weather analysis techniques, and special considerations in the use of flow diversions and lift stations.

These sessions will give you a jump-start on your next collection system modeling project.
