AquaDyn Demo Installation Instructions
Download all files, Aquadyn.exe, symsis.exe, symsis.w02 and symsis.w03 into a directory. Download Tutorial.pdf if using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download
Tutorial.doc if using WORD 6.0 or higher.
Installing this demo is in three steps: (1) installing the Simulation System, (2) installing the model itself, in this case, AquaDyn, and (3) loading the model
into the Simulation System.
1. From the Windows Explorer or File Manager, double-click on symsis.exe and follow instructions on the screen.
2. Double-click on the Aquadyn.exe file and follow the directions on the screen.
3. Run the Simulation System using the following procedure: (For Windows NT: Double-click the Simulation System icon in the Simulation System group of the Windows Program Manager. For Windows 95/98/2000: Click Start, choose Programs and then choose Simulation System. From the File Menu, choose Models. The Model Manager dialog box appears. Click Add. The Open dialog box appears. Using the drivers, directories and list boxes, locate and choose the file Aquaend.mod. To start a new project, from the File menu, choose New. In the Available Models dialog box, select AquaDyn. You are now ready to begin exploring some of the sample files included for you using the File/Open command.
