AquiferTest Top Menu Bar
|
|
The first three items on the top menu bar (File, Edit and View) are standard items for most Windows applications. These items function the same way in AquiferTest as they would in any other Windows application. The remaining menu items (Project, Test, Data, and Analysis) are designed to guide you, from left to right, through the steps of analyzing your data using AquiferTest.
|
AquiferTest Project Navigation TreeThe Project Navigation Tree clearly shows the structure of your project data and allows you to quickly and easily access the data from any part of the project (e.g., well locations on a map, water level data from any well or analysis results from any pumping test). The Project Navigation Tree is designed to function like Windows Explorer with collapsing branches and right-mouse-click functionality to add, delete or copy the various components of the project. |

AquiferTest Data Input TablesAquiferTest uses spreadsheet-like tables for entering water level vs. time data or pumping rate vs. time data. These tables allow you to manually enter the data
line-by-line or easily cut-and-paste data from external spreadsheet applications and from ASCII text files. The data from these tables are displayed on the adjacent graph, and the data points on the graph are linked to the data
points in the table (e.g., click on a data point in the graph and it is highlighted in the table). These tables also give you the option of selecting from three different water level datums (top of well casing, sea level, or
benchmark).
|
AquiferTest Tabbed Information SheetsThe tabbed information sheets facilitate easy access to the data associated with each pumping test and slug test. Each data sheet contains information that is relevant to a specific data class. |
AquiferTest GraphsThe Graphs are displayed in each table where time or distance related data tables are present. These graphs allow you to visually interpret the data in order to
easily evaluate trends and identify outlying data points.
