Instructions for Downloading and Installing the AquiferTest Demonstration Program

This demonstration program is a slide show which guides you through the steps required
to input the necessary pumping test or slug test data and then run the various 
analysis methods provided by the program.  

THIS SLIDE SHOW MUST BE RUN ON A COMPUTER WITH THE SCREEN RESOLUTION SET TO 800x600.

Note: You will need at least 4 Mb of extended RAM (in excess of the operating system 
requirements) and 5 Mb of hard disk space available to run this example.  Make sure 
your machine meets these requirements before proceeding.  Use the DOS command "MEM/C" 
to check the free RAM and "CHKDSK" or "SCANDISK" to check the available hard drive space.

The AquiferTest demonstration program is provided as one compressed file.

To install the program, you should follow one of the following sets of instructions:

(1) Installing the demo from floppy diskettes

Download the compressed demonstration program file and then unzip onto a diskette.

 
Insert the disk into your floppy drive and run Install.exe for a Windows 3.x or 
Windows 95 installation.

(2) Installing the demo from your hard drive

Download the compressed demonstration program file and unzip it into a 
temporary directory (e.g. C:\TEMP>).

Run Install.exe for a Windows 3.x installation or a Windows 95 installation.

Note: Just press <Enter> when the installation program prompts you to insert 
another diskette.
