ModelGIS Overview
ModelGIS is a comprehensive, menu-driven interface for groundwater modeling within the ARC/INFO GIS software on UNIX workstations. ModelGIS
allows model grids, model input, and model output to be created, stored, and displayed within ARC/INFO. A complete preprocessor for the MODFLOW groundwater code is included, and required components for other
finite-difference models (model grid, lists, and matrices) can be created. This powerful interface increases modeling accuracy and efficiency, particularly when model regridding is required.
