Instructions for Downloading and Installing the Visual Groundwater 
Demonstration Program

This demonstration program is a slide show which guides you through 
the steps required to input the necessary site data or modeling results 
and then create 3-D representations of the subsurface characteristics.  

THIS SLIDE SHOW MUST BE RUN ON A COMPUTER WITH THE SCREEN RESOLUTION 
SET TO 1024 x 768.

Note: You will need at least 8 Mb of extended RAM (in excess of 
the operating system requirements) and 10 Mb of hard disk space 
available to run this example.  Make sure your machine meets these 
requirements before proceeding.  Use the DOS command "MEM/C" 
to check the free RAM and "CHKDSK" or "SCANDISK" to check the 
available hard drive space.

Please be aware that you will require a 75MHz Pentium PC, with 32 Mb 
RAM and 2 Mb VRAM, 35 Mb hard disk and a SVGA monitor to run the 
actual software.

Each of these files must be downloaded in order to run the 
demonstration program.  To install the program, you should follow 
one of the following sets of instructions:

(1) Installing the demo from floppy diskettes

Download the demonstration program files and then unzip each of them 
onto three separate diskettes.  

To install the demo program, insert Disk#1 into your floppy drive 
and run Setup32.exe for a Windows 3.x or Windows 95 installation.

(2) Installing the demo from your hard drive

Download the demonstration program files and unzip them in a 
temporary directory (e.g. C:\TEMP>).

To install the demo program, run Setup32.exe for a Windows 3.x 
installation or a Windows 95 installation.

Note: Just press <Enter> when the installation program prompts 
you to insert another diskette.
